Nesting Bird Walk
We saw plenty of birds carrying food for their babies, and spotted a number of nests including those of American robins, Baltimore orioles, orchard orioles, tree swallows, and an American redstart. Here, participants are looking at yellow warblers flitting among the trees. Sightings from the walk were included in the list for today's Fresh Pond Bioblitz.
