Summer Solstice Bird Walk
Friends of Fresh Pond Reservation's annual evening bird walk is a treat for folks who don't like to get up early to look at birds. This year's walk got off to a good start with a long look at a male redstart near Black's Nook, and a green heron on that pond. In this photo we are in Lusitania Meadow, where we saw a number of adult and juvenile orchard orioles.
