Fascinating Fungi of Fresh Pond Reservation

Mycologist Larry Millman introduced many curious naturalists to the mysterious world of fungi during this walk. Although the dry recent weather has reduced the variety of species that are currently visible, we nonetheless saw 16 species, including one Larry identified as new for the Fresh Pond list (Stereum striatum), and an additional one that he has not yet identified.
