The Moon: Fact, Fiction, and Lore
Astronomer Joshua Roth provided many facts about the moon that were new to most of us, while educator Barbara Strell shared legends from native people, a true story about Abraham Lincoln, and other tales. We then went outside to see the moon in all its gibbous (3/4 full) glory, and also had splendid looks at Jupiter and its moons.
