White Trillium, Trillium grandiflorum
These showy woodland flowers are growing in the Woodland Restoration Project, a cultivated area north of the Water Department that is maintained by volunteers. They have planted only species that are known to have been growing naturally in the area now known as Middlesex County before European colonists arrived.
