Aster and Goldenrod Identification
Participants learned to use an aster chart and goldenrod key with the help of walk leader Barbara Strell (blue jacket) before visiting the Kingsley Park bioswale, One of the showiest of the 10 species of Aster growing in the bioswale is this Smooth Aster, Symphyotrichum leave, here being visited by a bumble bee.
