Linden Viburnum (Viburnum dilatatum)
This large shrub is growing near the Pond Road to the north of Little Fresh Pond. The pretty white flower clusters in spring, deeply veined leaves that turn red in fall, and persistent red berries in winter make it an all-season highlight. Although not a North American native, this Asian import is well-behaved in the natural landscape.
