Goldenrod and Aster Identification
The Kingsley Park Bioswale provided an abundance of asters for participants in this Friends of Fresh Pond Reservation program to identify. After practicing indoors, they were able to recognize most of the 10 aster species and 6 goldenrod species that grow at Fresh Pond. The photo on the right shows Downy and New England Asters growing together
