Meet "The Beetles!"
Galerucella beetles are about as big as a grain of short grain brown rice. They have a classic beetle shape with no outstanding coloration. The ones we observed were not particularly fast moving, and did not seem very much inclined to fly when they were released from the bucket. Most of them crawled out onto the nearest vegetation.
