Whitlow Grass (Draba verna)
The tiny (3/16 inch) flowers of this low-growing plant have the characteristic
four petals of the mustard family. Like many members of this family,
they are early risers, blooming before most wildflowers have started
to grow. The only place on the Reservation that these plants have been
seen is a small area around a storm drain in back of Neville Place.
