Incomplete Nest
Two weeks after the tree swallow boxes were put in place for the season, none had a completed nest. Last year the first completed nest was observed on May 8, and eggs were observed on May 20. We are hoping that by getting the boxes in place a week earlier this year, some birds may have a second brood.
