May Flowers The Reservation abounds with flowering trees, mostly crabapples. The one pictured is on the shore of Little Fresh Pond. Compare with the flowers of this downy hawthorn, which is growing on the golf course near Black's Nook. The apple leaves are typical pointed ovals with small teeth. |
