Tree Swallow Nestlings
For the last few weeks Nest Box Number One
has been the scene of much coming and going
by adult birds. Here is why! These six youngsters
have their flight feathers and will soon be leaving
the nest.

Boxes #2 and #3 were also opened and found
to have broods of at least four babies each. While
the boxes were opened, the adults flew around chattering. As soon as we left, the adults returned.
