Spreading Dogbane
Apocynum androsaemifolium
This native perennial wildflower has the growth habit

of a small shrub. The ¼ inch pink and white flowers
with recurved lobes are produced at the ends of the
long branches, and nod with every gust of wind.

There is a small stand of these plants next to the
Beech Path in back of Neville Place.
