Black Medick
Medicago lupulina
This low sprawling plant can be found in lawns
on the Reservation. A member of the clover family,
it can be distinguished from the hop clovers by the
point at the tip of each leaflet. The fruiting cluster of
small black coiled pods is distinctive.
