Wildflowers in the Water Department Swales
Two long swales are located between the railroad tracks and
the Water Department parking lot and service road. They
collect rainwater runoff, which creates conditions favorable
to the growth of these White Boneset (Eupatorium perfoliatum),
pink Joe-pye Weed (Eupatorium maculatum) and Blue Vervain
(Verbena hastata).
