White Wood Aster
Aster divaricatus
This is one of the early blooming asters whose 3/4 to one-inch flowers
seem to glow from the shade beneath the trees. The leaves resemble
those of the Heart-leaved Aster, which is also in flower. However,
the flowers of the latter are usually blue-violet or rose colored,
and somewhat smaller.
