Plant Identification Workshop
Ted Elliman of New England Wild Flower Society showed participants on this walk the native and non-native plant inhabitants along the lower Kingsley Park path. Because the path is just above water level, many of the plants growing there like to have wet feet, and are found only in this area. Here Ted is describing Switchgrass (Panicum virgatum) growing near the water department.
