Lusitania Meadow
This man-made meadow in spring is an especially attractive place, with bright, fresh greenery, lots of bird activity and, frequently, beautiful clouds like these. The meadow is also fulfilling expectations as a biological filter for stormwater runoff from the surrounding land. The water percolates through sand and soil on its way to the Pond, and is purified in the process.
