A Tour of the Upper Watershed
Participants on this tour boarded a yellow school bus at the Cambridge Water Department, and were driven to Waltham. There we visited a redevelopment project at the former Polaroid site at 1265 Main Street, near Route 128. Dave Kaplan, Cambridge Watershed Supervisor (left photo) described to us how the water department and the developers are working together to prevent storm water runoff and protect the nearby Cambridge reservoir.
