Volunteer Training Workshop
In this hands-on workshop, New England Wild Flower Society's Amanda Weise, showed slides and used dried and live specimens to help us identify non-native, invasive plants that are either currently found at Fresh Pond, or have become invasive in other parts of New England. Amanda will work this summer and fall with volunteers on restoration and maintenance projects on the Reservation that are intended to promote healthy, biologically diverse urban habitats at Fresh Pond.
