Lusitania Wet Meadow at Work
The function of the manmade Lusitania Wet Meadow is to retain water from rain and snow that has run off from the surrounding ground, and allow it to be slowly filtered free of sediments and pollutants, then discharged into the Reservior. The roots of vegetation such as Cattails, Rushes, and Swamp Milkweeds help the cleansing process
