The Woodland Restoration Project
This area of the Reservation is managed by volunteer stewards, five members of Friends of Fresh Pond Reservation, who are gardeners and who love working with and learning about native plant species. All plants growing in this area are New England natives, most being native to the area we call Middlesex County. On Sunday, July 7 from 1 to 3 pm there will be an "open house" there, with volunteer stewards on hand to show you around and answer your questions. Plants will be labeled for convenient identification.
