Upper Cambridge Watershed Nature Walk
Participants on this Water Department-sponsored walk enjoyed the luxury
of riding to and from the site in an air-conditioned bus on this very
hot evening. The tour was led by Watershed Manager Chip Norton,
Watershed Supervisor Dave Kaplan, and Senior Landscape Architect
for Bioengineering Group's Duke Bisco. We explored woods and
meadows on land owned by the City of Cambridge in Lincoln and Lexington.
This beautiful, undeveloped parcel adjacent to the Hobbs Brook Reservoir
was purchased by the City to help protect the quality of water in the
reservoir.
