Spotted Joe-Pye Weed (Eupatorium maculatum) and White Boneset (E. perfoliatum
)
These two mid-summer beauties, are magnets for bees and butterflies, which are attracted by the pollen and nectar. Both plant species are found in the bioswales and other moist areas of Fresh Pond Reservation. These were growing in the Wbioswales in front of the Water Department.
