Happy Plant
This Mountain Laurel, Kalmia latifolia, was in sad condition several years ago when the volunteers for the Woodland Restoration Project rescued it from a sunny location on the Reservation. Laurels prefer to grow in shade or dappled sunlight. That is where we planted it, and it is now a healthy, beautiful plant.
