Fresh Pond Day 2012
The weather was perfect for the fifth annual celebration of Fresh Pond, and people of all ages flocked to the Reservation. Activities included a children's Story Walk, poster coloring and a parade with Ranger Jean, face painting, container gardening demonstrations, arts and crafts, Davey the Clown, Rockin' Children's Music with Scott Kepnes, treatment plant tours, nature drawing, stilt walking lessons, tap water taste tests, and dog training clinics. Additional activities shown here (from top left) are: information tables, animal stories, children climbing on emergency and landscape vehicles, live animals, water main repairing, and tours of the Woodland Restoration Project.
