A Weeding Bonanza
Eight Volunteer Stewards led by Deb Albenberg of the Cambridge Water
Department tackled Garlic Mustard, Bull Thistle and Burdock in the area
around Black's Nook. All of these weeds grow invasively and crowd out
more desirable species. The evening's harvest was unusually large.
The Stewards meet Monday evenings from 5:30 to 7:30 pm and Thursday
mornings from 10 am to 12 noon.
