Shady Hill Students Practice Good Citizenship
This group of seven junior high school students from the nearby Shady
Hill School showed determination and commitment to the environment during
this outing at Fresh Pond Reservation. They spent several hours pulling
Garlic Mustard, a non-native weed that is growing invasively throughout
the Reservation. Their effort is greatly appreciated by both professional
and volunteer stewards who have been working since April to keep this
weed under control. Thank you, Students!
