An Online Birding Revolution
Friends group member Andrew Hrycyna kept us fascinated with the
insights he has been able to extract from the online databases of Cornell
University's eBird website. The site allows users to generate maps,
graphs, and lists of birds that can be helpful in studying bird populations
and migration. Andy has started a project to observe the birds of Black's
Nook, with the goal of determining whether the restoration work that
has been done there will increase or change bird usage.
