Nature Lives!
Nature is certainly alive and well after our mild winter. Naturalists Larry Millman and Tom Murray found and identified a wide variety of fungi (Larry) and arthropods (Tom) on and under logs in the woods during this late winter exploratory program.
The mushrooms are (left) the underside of Schizophyllum commune (Split Gill), and (right) Trametes versiclor (Turkey Tail), both in unusual circular formations.
