Planting in the Rain
A bit of drizzle does not deter the volunteers who are working in the Lusitania Woodland Habitat Restoration Project. These women have just finished planting the last of about 140 young native tree and shrub species that we hope will someday provide habitat for small mammals and birds. Volunteers from Friends of Fresh Pond Reservation and the Cambridge Water Department are working together on this project.
