Eastern White Pine (Pinus strobus) at Kingsley Park
As the sky became overcast, this large Eastern White Pine growing on topof the Kingsley Park hillside had "presence." The white pine (a New England native) is a tall trees with a very straight trunk. Because it is among the more rapidly growing northern forest conifers, it is an excellent tree for reforestation projects and landscaping.
