Lusitania Meadow
Volunteer leaders Deb Albenberg from the Cambridge Water Department (pea green jacket, facing camera) and Betsy Meyer of Friends of Fresh Pond Reservation (facing left) show invasive weeds to the participants in this introductory stewardship walk. Volunteers make a major contribution every growing season toward the control of weeds that threaten the restored natural areas ofthe Reservation such as this meadow. The work can be strenuous, but we also always have fun.
