Canada Geese (Branta canadensis) at Little Fresh Pond
This flock of Canada Geese are on the far side of Little Fresh Pond (the green grass of the golf course is in the background). They are easily identified bytheir black head, neck and tail, a white "chin strap", cheeks, and undertail, atan breast and a brown back, but occasional variants do occur.
