Three Scenes of Flooding on Perimeter Road

These photos show the effects of the seven inches of rain that fell over The Reservation during three consecutive days of rain (March 13, 14, 15) and were taken on the "fourth" day when skies were clear and there was water, water everywhere. Severe flooding occurred on the northeastern most section of Perimeter Road (including Lusitania Meadow) and extended to near Sousa's Rock.
Left Photo - These trees grow very close to the entrance of the Reservation located near the rotary where Concord Avenue and Fresh Pond Parkway merge. I was impressed by the amount of water which accumulated in an area that is normally dry.
Middle Photo - This stretch of usually dry land is located between Lusitania Meadow (on the left) and Fresh Pond (on the right and not shown).
Right Photo - Perimeter Road (foreground) could be aptly named Perimeter Pond if this water accumulation was permanent.
