After the Rain
There was still a lot of water on the ground a half-day after the three-day rainstorm that dumped 7 inches of rain on the Reservation. Parts of the Perimeter Road were still under water (left photo) and the Lusitania Meadow wetland was filled to the brim. This was not a problem for a pair of Mallards dabbling there (right photos.)
