Plant Photography Workshop
Arieh Tal, an expert on native plants and professional photographer,
shared his expertise and love of photography with this group of amateurs
who wanted to improve their photographic techniques.
Arieh
hopes that people will use their newfound skills to photograph plants
for the new Online Flora of New England that is being created
by the New England Wild Flower Society with grants from the Institute
of Museums and Library Services and the National Science Foundation.
Photos are wanted of wild-growing (both native and naturalized) species
of our region, including ferns and allied plants, herbaceous flowering
plants, grasses and their relatives. Anyone may submit digital photos
for this project. For more information contact Arieh Tal at atal@newenglandwild.org
