Weir Meadow in Flower

The Weir Meadow, located around the bend just south of the water purification facility, has been planted with native sun-loving perennials. Yellow goldenrods and False Sunflowers (Heliopsis helianthoides), and pink Spotted Joe-Pye Weed (Eupatorium maculatum) and Purple Coneflowers (Echinacea purpurea) will soon be joined by purple New England and New York asters asters (Symphiotrichum novae-angliae and S. novi-belgii.)
