Wild Flowers on the Golf Course
In recent years the golf course has become the home of many cultivated
wildflowers such as these Joe-Pye Weeds growing next to the green near
Black's Nook. Native plants growing in low spots such as this one retain
storm water runoff , allowing the water to percolate into the ground
where it is purified as it gradually moves into the reservoir.
