Leatherleaf Viburnum
(Viburnum rhytidophyllum)
This large multi-stemmed shrub grows adjacent to the lower parking lot
that is next to the Water Department buildings. It is native to Eurasia.
The flowers are showy clusters that bloom in mid-spring. The leather
like pattern of theleaves show why Leatherleaf became the common name.
