Spring Bird Walk
A cold wind did not keep the birds from singing, or warmly-dressed birders
from participating in this walk. Here we are looking American Goldfinches
in the trees near the Old Bird Meadow west of Black's Nook. The stars
of the day were Tree Swallows: They have found the 15 nest boxes that
have been put up on the reservation for them, and are determining who
will get to use them.
