Seaside Godenrod, Solidago sempervirens
These are tough plants that are adapted to growing in sandy, sometimes salty, soil. In the relatively luxurious conditions of the Water Department parking lot planting bed, they are growing 6 feet tall. The individual flowers are quite large and showy.
