Goldenrod and Aster Identification
A Friends of Fresh Pond Reservation Program
Barbara Strell (standing at table in left photo) used cut flowers from the Reservation to demonstrate to participants how to use a dichotomous key to identify goldenrods, and a chart to identify asters. After the talk, the group gathered in the Kingsley Park bioswale to practice their new skills in the field.
