Water Department Parking Lot Planting bed
The bold colors of New England Asters (Aster novae-angleae),
Seaside Goldenrods (Solidago sempervirens), and Butterfly Weeds
(Asclepias tuberosa) have faded from the perennial garden, but
there is still much to see and enjoy. Here, the seeds of Swamp Milkweed
(A. syriaca), the leaves and fruit of Red Chokeberry (Aronia
arbutifolia), and the seeds of Seaside Goldenrod offer a variety
of textures and color.
