at The Water Purification Facility
Once again, nesting boxes are visible all around the Reservation. Each year the boxes are put up at the end of March or early April. At the end of the breeding season in July, the boxes are taken down, washed with soapy water containing chlorine bleach, dried, rubbed with linseed oil, and stored in the Water Department garage.
