Now a patchwork of brightly colored flowers, two weeks ago this garden was all green. See July 13. Visible are orange Butterfly Weeds (Asclepias tuberosa), yellow Black-eyed Susans (Rudbeckia serotina), red Cardinal Flower (Lobelia cardinalis) and pink Coneflowers (Echinacea purpurea.) As the summer progresses, the show of colors will intensify.
