Black Cohosh, Cimicifuga racemosa
The flowers of this native woodland plant have an unpleasant odor, but they do light up a dark corner near the north end of the mulch path around the base of Kingsley Park. Also known as Black Snakeroot or Bugbane, it is a member of the Buttercup Family.
