A Friends of Fresh Pond Reservation Bird Walk
Black's Nook was a lively spot this morning: A Great Blue Heron stood on the far side looking for fish, a Green Heron flew into a shrub on the near side, and three immature Black Crowned Night Herons flew over just after we arrived. At one point all three heron species were visible in one field of view.
