Invasive Plants Identification
Conservationist Ted Elliman, from New England Wildflower Society, used Fresh Pond Reservation's invasive weeds as examples during this program designed to help people recognize plants that can become a problem in both public and private properties. Here, Ted is showing the similarities and differences between two invasive shrubs, Glossy Buckthorn (Frangula alnus) and Common Buckthorn (Rhamnus cathartica.)
